A note before you go. Treat Delfinario as a separate regional outing from Cienfuegos. Arrange the outward and return journey before adding another visit on that day. The suggested days are an editable grouping, not a timed tour. Visit allowances exclude transfers, meals and queues; confirm the exact entrance and current visiting arrangements for Museo Histórico before setting off.

BEFORE YOU SET OFF

A more practical kind of plan.

Getting your bearings

Both the centre and Punta Gorda are easy of walk around, but are about 3 km apart. They are joined by Calle 37 (del Prado), which runs by the sea. If you don't fancy walking, the principal public transportation is coches or horse-drawn carts that seat 6 or 8 people. They go up and down Calle 37. You can most likely easily arrange taxi at your place of stay, esp. if you'd like to visit one of the more remote parts (e.g. Playa Rancho Luna).

Build a route that makes sense

Tomas Terry Theatre and Castillo de Jagua are about 9.2 km apart in a straight line. Use the route link to compare the actual streets or transport connections before putting both in the same morning; the measurement is not a walking distance or a transfer estimate.
