Use the museum's maritime, archaeological and historical collections to understand Fiji as a place connected by journeys and changing communities. Travel out of the centre for a selected forest walk among the park's trails, streams and pools. Ask at the managed entrance about current routes and rainfall effects, and give bird calls and vegetation time to become noticeable. Keep to the recommended path and make water entry a separate decision based on local advice and conditions.
