Pause where the street changes direction and look upwards at the facades, leaving space for residents and deliveries as you browse.

Al-Khader Street, old As Salţ
Reach this church by the old town’s rising lanes and steps, then approach it as an active sanctuary. Built above a cave, it is associated with a local story of Saint George and welcomes devotion from Christians and Muslims. Keep legends distinct from architectural history and allow quiet time for the setting before returning to the street.
