Port Lucaya Marketplace
The museum places shipwreck discoveries alongside the histories of the Lucayans and the transatlantic slave trade. Its Maravillas material offers a concrete way into the Bahamas’ position on Atlantic sea routes. Read the conservation context as well as the object labels; recovered treasure has a longer story than its monetary value.

Taino Beach, wider Freeport/Lucaya
The public park at Taino Beach adds trees, sitting areas and a nature trail to the coast. Follow the vegetation interpretation before deciding how long to spend on the sand. The Edward St. George memorial provides a local historical reference, while the park’s community role gives this stop a different character from a resort beach.
