This forest park offers a different outdoor day from the beach, with paths and play areas among the trees. It is particularly useful when members of a group want a break from lying on the sand. Choose a manageable section rather than treating every activity in the park as part of one short stop.

Majori
The pedestrian street grew between the dunes as the resort developed. Its cafés, shops and historic resort setting make a good contrast to a beach or forest walk. Start around Majori and leave time to look at the streets branching away from the promenade, rather than assuming the entire city is one compact seafront.
