Hlavná, historic Prešov
Begin with the church’s position in the widened central street: the tall tower helps organise the entire historic core. Walk around the exterior before entering when visitors are welcome, using the surrounding square to understand the building’s scale.

The palace museum joins a historic urban residence with displays about Prešov and the Šariš region. Its published exhibitions include domestic interiors, historical objects and ethnographic material from village life. Solivar district, southeast of central Prešov
Visit the surviving technical landscape of salt production, including structures associated with pumping brine, storing it and evaporating it. The preserved horse-powered pumping installation above the Leopold shaft makes the process easier to imagine. Follow how material moved through the complex rather than viewing the buildings as unrelated monuments; confirm the accessible circuit with the museum.

A note before you go. Pair St Nicholas and Rákoci Palace along Hlavná, checking church access around services and the museum’s current exhibitions. Reserve a separate block for Solivar at Zborovská 2/A; it is outside the central sightseeing circuit.
