BEFORE YOU SET OFF

A more practical kind of plan.

Getting your bearings

The centre is pedestrianised and also small enough to explore on foot. Many areas have also been made wheelchair accessible. However, if you are coming to Žilina as a tourist, you probably won't need to use public transport, because almost everything interesting is reachable on foot or by shared bike. A bikesharing system called BikeKIA operates in the city and it is a great way to explore the city. You have to download their app, register and then it is possible to lend a bike from any of the 32 stations.

Build a route that makes sense

Catholic House and Evangelical Church of Augsburg Confession are about 0.2 km apart in a straight line. Use the route link to compare the actual streets or transport connections before putting both in the same morning; the measurement is not a walking distance or a transfer estimate.
